College football is built on traditions, but few conferences embrace them like the Southeastern Conference.
At Missouri, the traditions that define home game Saturdays in Columbia stand shoulder to shoulder with those of every other great college football town in the SEC.
Those traditions include:
- The Tiger Walk, as fans welcome the team to Memorial Stadium before kickoff.
- The familiar M-I-Z / Z-O-U call, which echoes throughout the venue as fans rally behind the Tigers.
- Supporters swaying together and raising their hands during the “Missouri Waltz.”
Missouri’s game-day traditions reflect the passion, pride and close-knit spirit of Tigers fans. They may be unique to Mizzou, but they’re now woven into the fabric of SEC football.
